Forward tests


Sometimes, forward tests might not match EXACTLY with 3rd party testers because different brokers = different feeds, although spread does not really matter.

Stop loss and take profit
Stop loss and take profit values are dynamically, based on market volatility. The robot is fully controlled by the market, this prevents curve fitting and almost guarantees long term profits.

One can see that the volatility significantly increased over the years, so the profits. (see 2007-2011 backtests).

Volatility based entries and exits prevents the robot failure when the market changes.
If TP and SL values are fixed the robot must be optimized every month according to the new market face.

We have overcomed this problem, TP and SL are self-adjusting, no optimization needed!
Starting capital
It works with micro and macro accounts, recommended minimum starting balance is $250. For money management and lot sizes, please read the documentation.

Backtests

12 years backtests are performed using 2 pips spread and that means rather extreme conditions. Because it uses open prices only, it was backtested that way.

An extreme backtest, with Risk=10, which means risking 10% of your account! The profit is huge, but we won’t advice anyone to do that :)

Please note that ALL demo/live trades must match the backtests. You won’t see that very often, we assure you. If you don’t believe that just fire up your best scalper and test it using a spread of 2, you’ll be surprised how the equity curve looks like. :)

Our forward tests can be found HERE,  just check them time to time just to make sure that Forex Cleaner’s backtests can be fully trusted.
